RSS readerimdəki ən xoşladığım və gündəlik yoxladığım mənbələrdən biri NASA-nın rəsmi saytının nəzdində olan APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) layihəsidir. Bu arxiv şəklində olan mənbə hər gün yeni kosmos/astronomya sahəsində şəkil və ona əlavə olunmuş açıqlama dərc edir. Biri Miçiqan Texniki Universitetində çalışan, digəri NASA əməkdaşı olan 2 astronom alimin bu layihəsi internetin ən böyük astronomik şəkillər kolleksiyası sayılır.

Aerogel - planetimizdəki ən yüngül və ən möhkəm material

Bu günlərdə sevimli habrada maraqlı bir material haqda post dərc etmişdilər. Aerogel adlı bu qəribə nəmənə donmuş tüstüyə(buxara) oxşayır. Yazıda bu materialın planetimizdəki ən yüngül və ən möhkəm material olduğu deyilirdi. 99.8% havdan təşkil olunub, 1000 dəfə şüşədən sıx, şüşəplastikdən 39 dəfə daha effektiv izolyator olmağı yazılmışdı. Hələ sonra youtube-dan götürülmüş videonu görüb lap həvəsləndim. Bunu bloqa mütləq itələyəcəm və hələ wiki tərcüməsini də eləyəcəm qərarını verdim. Xoşuma gəlir də bu qərar sözü :)

Aerogel (Latın dili. aer - hava, gelatus - donmuş) - maye halı tamamilə qaz halı ilə əvəzolunmuş, gel şəklində materiallar sinfi. Bu tip materiallar möhkəmlik, şəffaflıq, istiyədavamlılıq, olduqca aşağı istilikkeçiriliciklə yanaşı, rekord aşağı sıxlıq xassəsinə malikdirlər. Amorf silisium oksid, silisium, aliminium oksid və həmçinin xrom oksid əsasında olan Aerogellər mövcuddur. 1990-cı illərin əvvəllərində karbon əsasında olan aerogelin ilk nümunələri əldə edilmişdir.
Strukturu
Aerogel məsaməli meteriallar sinfinə aiddir, bu sinif materiallarda basıqlıq ümumü həcmin ən azı 50% -ni təşkil edir. Adətən bu nisbət 90-99%a çatır, sıxlıq isə 1 -150 кq/м³ təşkil edir. Aerogelin strukturu ağacşəkilli tora bənzəyir. Bu tor 2-5 nm ölçülərində olan nanohissələrin və 100 nm öçülərinə kimi olan məsamələrin klasterlərə birləşməsindən ibarətdir.

Öz nəticələrini Nature jurnalında nəşr etmiş, Sakit Okean Kollecinin ( College of the Pacific) kimyaçısı Stiven Kistler tərəfindən kəşf olunduğu qəbul olunur.
Kistler geldə mayeni metanol ilə əvəz edib təzyiq altında metanolun böhran temperaturuna (240°C) kimi qızdırırdı. Nəticədə metanol həcmini dəyişmədən geli tərk eliyir; uyğun olaraq gel də sıxılmadan quruyurdu.
Xassələri
Aerogel yüngül amma möhkəm penoplasta bənzəyir. Güclü təzyiq zamanı aerogel çatlayır, amma ümumülükdə aerogel çox möhkəm materialdır - öz çəkisindən 2000 dəfə böyük olan təzyiqə davam gətirə bilər.
İstifadəsi
Hal hazırda NASA - nın "Stardust" (Kosmik tor) layihəsində kosmik tor tələsi üçün xammal kimi istifadə olunub.
Aerogel qaz və maye filtr kimi itifadə olunur.
Aliminium nanohissələrinə malik dəmir oksid əsasında olan aerogel partlayıcı maddə kimi istifadə oluna bilər. Son zamanlar tez-tez eşitdiyim bizdə bir qədər də dəbə minməyən frilanslər və ya sevimli maraq, xobbini gəlir məmbəyinə çevirib, ofis abu-havasından uzaqda və əksinə evdə və ya sevimli insalardan uzaqda olmayaraq işləyənləri nəzərdə tuturam bizdə də belələri var? Varsa onların təcrübəsi və sadəcə onlarnan yaxından tanış olmaq çox maraqlı olardı.

On STS-128, Discovery docked with the International Space Station Sunday evening. The 13-day mission will exchange space station crew members and deliver more than 7 tons of supplies and equipment. Explanation: What causes these long, strange clouds? No one is sure. A rare type of cloud known as a Morning Glory cloud can stretch 1,000 kilometers long and occur at altitudes up to two kilometers high. Although similar roll clouds have been seen at specific places across the world, the ones over Burketown, Queensland Australia occur predictably every spring. Long, horizontal, circulating tubes of air might form when flowing, moist, cooling air encounters an inversion layer, an atmospheric layer where air temperature atypically increases with height. These tubes and surrounding air could cause dangerous turbulence for airplanes when clear. Morning Glory clouds can reportedly achieve an airspeed of 60 kilometers per hour over a surface with little discernible wind. Progression by Markus Schulz (part 2): The Review

Progression... If you have listened to ASOT 300 then you heard Markus's interview with Armin. Armin told that the Album will be one of the best albums of this year. I was very interested in album and get it as soon as possible. Now this is what I can say about the album

Track 1st: I'am (vs Chakra) - This is one of the best tracks of the album. The album version of the song is different than other versions that we've already heard on A State Of Trance or Trance Around The World. The album version is more tempo and energy. IMHO this one is the best version.

2nd: Spilled Cranberries - progressive trance with nice and interesting sounds

3rd: On A Wave - I loved this track from first listening. Especially Anita Kelsey's vocal is very beautiful.

4th: Lost Cause (ft. Carrie Skipper) - Nice track, begins with tempo of On A Wave and changes it to the end.

6-7 : Fly to Colors & Let It Go - Very interesting energy tracks.

8th: Daydream featuring with Andy Moore - Reminds me Above and Beyond's Air for life. Same tempo and very similar sound

10th: Perfect - Really perfect music featuring with Dauby

and last 2 tracks: Cause You Know (feat Departure) - maybe this 2 were one big track and then divided ;) but I really liked them especially the last one, prefect track for the end of album

The whole Album is great. Album reminds one big progressive trance track where first tracks are Build-up, tracks through 5 to 7 are Climax and last tracks are Break-down. I recommend this album to all trance lovers especially these trax: 1,3,4,6,7,8,9 and 13.

“When I grew up listening to music it had a huge influence on me, and made me who I am, so when I make my own music I do it with the listener in mind and try and recreate that one on one feeling I’ve always had. It’s something that gets you through hard times, is a soundtrack to good times, and touches you in a unique way. I’m really proud of this album, and I hope people playing it will love it as much as I do.”

Markus Schulz’s star is in the ascendance. Following the release of his debut artist album, he’s jumped to number 19 in the prestigious DJ Top 100, enjoyed huge success with his Ibiza 2006 CD, seen his weekly Global DJ Broadcast radio show syndicated to over 30 stations worldwide, and travelled everywhere from Australia to Russia, China to Trinidad, and many other destinations along the way.

His stunning second artist album, Progression, is the result of these experiences, and offers listeners a slice of his trademark dark, melodic trance alongside beautiful chilled tracks, guitars, and sublime vocals. Says Markus, “Progression was conceived in the summer, whereas the debut album was done and released in winter, so Progression is less dark, and more influenced by sunny days in Miami. ‘Trinidad to Miami’ was actually written while I was flying over the ocean with the sun shining on the water, and encapsulates that feeling of optimism and happiness.”

The album kicks off with Markus Schulz vs Chakra’s ‘I Am’, Markus’ take on one of his all time favourite records, for which Chakra supplied the vocals with their blessing. Other highlights include Daydream, with a vocal guest spot from Carrie Skipper, who also puts in an appearance on Lost Cause, and Daydream with Andy Moore, the sun soaked ‘Let It Go’, and a collaboration with Markus’ protégé Mike Targansky, aka Elevation. Iberian chill out comes in the form of ‘On A Wave’ featuring Anita Kelsey, while ‘Cause You Know’ is a rock influenced, mid tempo ballad. “An artist album is very different to a mix CD – a mix is a snapshot of what you’re playing at that time, while an artist album is a bigger expression of what’s inside you artistically, so it’s amazing to watch the crowd react to your own creation,” says Markus. A Progression Tour is now planned, and the audio and visual assault promises to be unmissable.
